Here in New England, I am surrounded by natural beauty.  Unlike the iconic, sweeping landscapes in other parts of our country, you have to look closely to find little corners where nature thrives. It is the search for these hidden gems and sharing them with you that I find my inspiration. 

I have always been interested in photography, particularly in the outdoors.  I carried a simple 35 mm point and shoot camera as a child and began shooting landscapes primarily.  Longing to move beyond the limitations of the basic camera, I progressed to a Pentax K 1000 SLR and began to learn the technical aspects.
